Hotel Sheldon - Hollywood

It was a really great stay, the best I had before. Location: the hotel was very close to restaurants, the coffee shop and Roccos' Pizzeria on the north corner of Johnson Street and the Boardwalk. I tried some drinks at bar Capone's Flicker Lite, located 10 minutes walk away.

Plenty of great food for meals. Spotless and updated room with a balcony as expected.

The property was in the heart of the city.

The units are large with king bed.

The price was very good for the location. Hotel is facing the beach.

The location was excellent and made it very convenient. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance that were also very affordable.

I loved being just a few steps from the Hollywood Boardwalk and only a short 10-minute walk to Charnow Park, making it easy to explore the area, grab some food at nearby eateries, and enjoy the beach vibe , where the room was clean, freshly renovated, and perfect.

Our room was poorly cleaned. There was an uncooperative attitude from staff.

It was a SUCH GREAT stay for the best vacation ever. Got double room as expected, liked it. Had hair dryers, a shower cap and towels in the bathroom. Also, location was magnificent and fantastic, near a beach park.

Really good Stay with Unmatched Service

Our family had an amazing three-night stay! The staff were really nice, even helping us track down our lost luggage. The ocean front view from our room was amazing. Don't miss exploring nearby eateries along the boardwalk for delicious meals!

Elevator was not working. No phone in room. Water pressure was terrible--took too long to get hot water. Dirty cup in microwave and used coffee filter in coffee maker.

The location of the Hotel and the price were very good. They are right on the beach.

Our room was located in the oddest place in the stairwell. Everything worked, but the bathroom was gross. Additionally, they are under construction for some reason so it was a bit dirty. I think if you are looking to save money and stay near the beach this is the place for you.

Perfect sight of the ocean. The room was spacious, and the amenities were nice, though the bathroom needed some updates. The staff was attentive and helpful were great.

Definitely not somewhere to spend your entire vacation, but its a decent place to sleep at night. Much better than other places by comparison! I saw some nasty hotels in Miami. The location is great, right next to the beach.

The location was right on the beach. Our room had a partial view of the ocean. Many restaurants near by and parking was not an issue. Room was large and closet was big as well. Only one person we saw working the front desk and they were pleasant and helpful. If you want luxury, this is not the place to be but for a cheap getaway or place to sleep on the ocean, it'll do. Great place for the money, we will book their again if we ever need a place in the area.

We were not sure what to expect. Since the rate was so cheap, we were thinking it was going to be a complete dump. It was older but they did do a few renovations. We did not plan on spending much time in the room so it was fine with us.

The hotel offers a charming atmosphere with clean, well-maintained rooms and easy access to the beach, making it perfect for seniors like me who enjoy a leisurely coastal stay.

Better soundproofing would enhance the overall experience.
